Last Wednesday Bill went for a boat ride on the Fish River which runs into Mobile Bay, eventually. A man here in the RV park takes folks out on the river and is very knowledgeable about the river and it’s history.
They left from the dock on Weeks Bay near the US98 bridge and headed north on Fish River.
This is the boat launch and one of many shrimp boats along the river.
Pictures of a few of the interesting houses ………..
Look closely to see the mail box on the dock. Mail is delivered on the river by US Mail boat.
More houses and docks…….
A couple other boaters out enjoying the river.
Another shrimp boat………….
He got a few shots of some of the wildlife on the river, such as these Sandhill Cranes…..
a “Cooter” Turtle…….
Cormorants waiting to scoop up fish from the river…
A Blue Heron drying his wings in the sun and another Blue Heron wading in the shallows…..
Not sure what kind of “wildlife” this is?????

There are many fish rivers in the world. I had been to Fish River located in Northern American. It was wonderful. I really enjoyed my fishing trip over there. This river is a part of Bering Sea.
