We have designated Tuesdays as “Date Days”……….which simply means that no matter what is happening in our lives Tuesdays are spent together, to do something fun! Sometimes it’s a movie in San Antonio and sometimes it is just doing the grocery shopping together…….and usually this includes dinner or a late lunch!
Today we just went for a drive as it is too hot to do anything outside and the car has A/C!!!
You can see our route on the map, but what the map doesn’t show is how truly barren the landscape is just a few miles south of us.
There is nothing out here but sagebrush and dust!!!!
At the 1/2 way point we turned north on this highway and here we are about 50 miles from the Mexico border.
You can follow US 83 from the southern border of the USA to the northern border of the USA!! Minot, ND, where I was born and raised, is located on US 83 and is about 50 miles from the Canada border!
Not a really exciting Date Day but we enjoyed our drive and, as always, the company was good!!! Think we will do a movie next week!
