Progress is Slow

As noted in our last post…….the “shed” has been ordered and now it is a waiting game! It should be here, complete, in another week and a half, maybe two weeks!! But in the meantime we just wait…..and plan how we will finish the inside. Remember, we only have 288 sq. ft. of interior space to finish, but it will have to serve many purposes, so it is taking a lot of paper to plan it out!!! Sometimes I think it would be easier to build a 3 bedroom, 2 bath house!!!

During the waiting time we have been very busy with the business of the park. I have become familiar with the duties of the Treasurer and Bill has excelled as the “ice cream man” for the Sunday Socials. He has also helped out with a number of other projects, so as you can see it is never dull here at Lone Star Corral. You can check out the park website at:www.lonestarcorral.com

The park is beginning to fill as more ‘winter Texans’ return from their summer travels and the social calendar is filling too with all the fun events that keep bringing us back here year after year, besides the sunshine that is!!!!

I’m sorry there are no exciting pictures to post, but we have been too busy with the mundane tasks in life to go sight seeing. But we have a couple of short trips planned for later, so here are a couple of flower shots from this summer..
