It’s Family Time……

We have been so busy since we arrived in the Seattle area that I have not had time to write, but it’s time to update you on what we have been doing.

Yesterday we spent the day at daughter Marcy’s with her family. We finally managed to get everyone to sit still for a group shot. Good looking family, if I must say so myself!!!!

Three generations, daughter, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Standing from left: Rick, Matt, Me  Middle from left: Corey, Marcy, Erika Sitting from left: Katie holding Carson, Tate, Ryan, and Allese

We were entertained with a puppet and art show, then Ryan’s acrobatic talents.

Even though the day was not warm and sunny, it was decided that a water-filled balloon toss would be fun. Of course everyone got wet in this game!

We had a great time at Marcy’s and felled into bed, exhausted!!!!

But after a good night’s sleep we were treated to a visit from Granddaughter Erika and here beautiful children, Trisity and Skyler. This was our first time to see Skyler in person and to hug him and smother him in kisses!! He is our youngest great grandchild and a great addition to the family! Trisity is growing into a beautiful young lady and is heading to 2nd grade already.

How fast they grow and how fast time passes, or are we just getting older and notice those things now.

We are staying at daughter Cindy’s house, they have provided a full hook up spot next to their house for summer visits with the family. They have also provided a Harley for Dad to ride while here, so they have been having a great time riding together. Dad and Brad are planning a week long trip to Sturgis Bike Rally the first week in August, so there is a lot of prepping and polishing of bikes to be done before they leave.

So far that is how life is going here in Seattle. I had put off a lot of my sewing projects as well as some sorting and cleaning jobs until we got here, but so far have had no time to do anything but get reacquainted with family, which is way more fun than cleaning anyway!!!
