Just like the very unusual cold weather we had in Texas last winter, Seattle is experiencing very unusual weather this summer. Last winter was way too cold in Texas and this summer in Seattle it is way too HOT!!! 90’s is not what Seattle expects, 70’s are typical so no one is prepared with air conditioning in their homes. It is supposed to start a cool down this week and I don’t think anyone will miss the heat!!!
Bill is finding ways to keep cool, such as motorcycle rides with grandson, Matt. Saturday they went up over Chinook Pass then over White Pass (near Mt. Rainier) on the way home again.
Before that it was rides with daughter, Cindy and husband, Brad. Needless to say he is really enjoying our visit in Seattle.
Me?……..what am I doing while they are all out riding around the countryside ????? I am enjoying the peace and quiet…thank you!!! Also I am finally getting to some of the sewing projects I have put off since leaving Texas in early April. In fact, tomorrow I have to go to Joann’s for yet more fabric……oh darn!!!! Haha!
Just one of my projects……..a bag for daughter, Angie’s birthday. Just like her Mom, she’s a “bag” lady!!! The more bags we have the happier we are!!!
We also are still reacquainting with old friends, some we have not seen for many, many years. We love meeting new folks, but old friends are still the most treasured.
All for now……………stay tuned.

Kay, that bag is really cute. Is that a printed panel on the front or embroidery? Sure looks good.
Your grandkids are so cute. I can see the resemblance.
