The fjord trip was a great success and the weather was just perfect!! We would recommend it to anyone visiting the Kenai Peninsula.

We arrived back at the dock at 4:30 PM and decided to make a stop at the Exit Glacier before going back to the motor home.

We hiked the 1+ mile trail up to the glacier and standing up next to it the temperature dropped dramatically as the wind flowed over (and under) the ice.

Note the colors in the ice, especially the blues!

The hike was a good way to end a good day of sightseeing in Alaska.

As always I just have to shoot all the wildflowers. This is lupine which is blooming everywhere right now!!!

In the morning we left the Kenai Peninsula and drove to Palmer to spend some more time with our friends there.

Still more adventures to come so stay tuned………
