Last Sunday we celebrated Easter with a potluck dinner here at Lone Star Corral in Hondo, TX. It was a beautiful, sunshiny day and as usual there was so much good food to be eaten, and we did our share!!!
My friend, Jane, and I did all the decorations and I made all the table flavors from left over plastic eggs from last year.
Bill carved all the hams, I ‘assisted’, and Jane supervised!
We had an “Easter Bonnet Parade” and my friend, Mae, was the prettiest of all. Note: this sweet little lady plays pools with the guys, and wins most of the time!!!
She also beats them at poker too.
As you can see there was a lot of imagination and inventiveness that went into the making of these hats.
Sue and Bob have been visiting here in the park while their trailer was being repaired and while they were here Sue doubled for me in the photo department at events . They have moved on now………they are missed and I hope to see them down the road again soon.
Just a couple of weeks now and we will be back on the road again too. We are busy doing all the little things that need to be done after sitting for several months in one place. We are anxious to hit the road again, but will miss seeing our friends here everyday. But we’ll be back next Fall……………………….
