Finally the weather has changed and become more like the South Texas weather we come here to enjoy!! The sun is shining and it is upper 70’s and 80’s most days, it still is a little nippy in the early morning but it’s wonderful!!!!
We have been busy here in the park as well as doing all the post-op check-ups with the doctors. I am feeling great and have been doing a lot walking and bike riding in the beautiful weather.
One of the fun activities last Friday’s social hour was a rousing game of “Family Feud”…………yes, just like the TV show without the electronics. We had a lot of fun and tons of laughs!!!!

Guests come and go in this park and we enjoy them all, but once in a while there are those who make an indelible mark on your heart. Sue and Bob Gutherie are two such people.
We hit it off immediately and had a lot of fun with them. They fit right in with our crazy little group who love to go out to eat and we have really enjoyed their company. I hope we will stay in touch and meet up again in the future.
Another month and we will be packing up and heading north. We are getting anxious to hit the road and will miss our friends here, but they will be hitting the road too.

Alright! Send us some of that sun! All the way up through Texas, Arkansas and Missouri, Phil lamented that we were leaving Texas just as the weather was warming up. Walt Conklin and Denny joked with Phil about his excuse of never using his grill while we were at QT due to the cold weather...I am soooo glad that you are feeling better and doing better. Riding bikes...I'm jealous...why did we bring our bikes to Texas? We used them once when we rode to Hondo for Christmas in Hondo. The weather just came on the TV...rain and snow is predicted for this weekend...aughhhhhh...
