Another beautiful day here on the Snake River. It’s hard to believe that July is almost gone and we have been here in Clarkston, WA for almost 3 months at Swallows Park. The weather has been very warm for the last month, in the 90’s and occasionally up to the 100’s. Thank goodness for A/C…………..!!!!!
My knee is coming along just fine. It has been almost 5 weeks since surgery and I am walking without any assistance (i.e: no cane), I’m not very fast but I get there! I am still in physical therapy 3 times a week, the leg muscles are getting stronger everyday and the flexibility (or degree of bend) is at 120. Everyday a new exercise is added to my routine, today is was balance for 10 seconds on the the affected leg 10 times!!! Haha, I never have been able to balance on one leg, new knee or not, so it was pretty funny!!!
Saturday was Kimmy and Alex’s wedding day!!!! The weather was warm, but perfect for an outdoor wedding. The two days before the wedding were hectic and filled with last minute preparations and a lot of sewing to be completed, but at 2:00 Saturday afternoon all was in order and the wedding was perfect!!!
As we were both in the wedding party my pix are all after the wedding. Bill walked Kimmy down the aisle and gave her away and I was the Matron of Honor.
The happy bride and groom.

Note all the guy’s vests and gal’s skirts……………..I made all of them usually with my leg up on a chair!!!!
We were all exhausted but the day was perfect and the bride was beautiful and the groom was handsome!!!!! Congratulations to Kim and Alex, may you always be as happy as you were on your wedding day!
