Yes, I am still here………..sorry I am so remiss in my postings, but my days have been occupied with physical therapy for the knee, followed by a nap. Then it is exercising the knee at home, followed by a nap! Actually just about everything I do is followed by a nap!!!!
My knee is gradually improving and I gain a little more mobility everyday, but it is really tiring hence the large number of naps. The swelling has become an occasional thing so I don’t have to ice as often. But this is a much slower process than I anticipated and is difficult for a very “non patient” person like me.
I have pretty much been “house/yard bound” with the exception of the trips to PT every other day and the occasional short car trip. But Wednesday and Thursday this week I went into the Corps of Engineers office for 4 hours each day. My job there is to answer the phones and answer questions for folks and all that can be done from a chair with my leg up on another chair. It felt good to be out and among the people even if only for a few hours a day. All of which was followed by a nap, of course!!!!!
I also have been able to start the sewing that I promised to do for our friends, Kimmy and Alex’s wedding on the 18th of July. I am making 5 men’s vests and next are the denim skirts for the gals. I will post pix when project is done. They are having a “western” theme wedding and will be a lot of fun.
Bill has been very busy doing park and trail maintenance, blackberry bushes never stop growing!!!!! On the 4th of July he and all the rangers were on “fire watch” even though fireworks are not allowed here. However there is a huge city fireworks display out over the Snake River and that brings the hot debris right over one section of the park………..so fire watch!!!!! Daughter Cindy and Brad were here for the weekend and Brad got recruited to help Bill with the fire watch.
All for now……………….time for a nap!!!!

Wow, a western wedding sounds very unique and will probably provide great pictures. Oh yes, please share! Boy could I use some nap time. Maybe on Monday.....
