Wild Creatures In Our Small Part of the World

From the window in our motor home I look out on a small world of wild creatures who come to visit and feast at feeders that I have set up in my “front yard”.

It is so easy just to sit and watch them for hours when I really should be doing something more constructive, like the laundry or vacuuming.

I put out 2 feeders, one with sunflower seeds and the other is a thistle bag for the little guys, but the sunflower seeds are definitely the most attractive it seems.

Now if I knew anything about birds I could tell you the names of the above birds…..however, I know nothing about birds except that they are fun to watch!

But the critters below, I know about………..

  A chipmunk…..

and then the big grey squirrel discovered the sunflower seeds……..

…..and his antics provided lots of entertainment until he totally demolished the birdfeeder.

So it was decided that no more sunflower seeds would be put out until the big grey found another feeder to demolish. So just hang in there, little birds, maybe next week!!!!
