We have been in Seattle now for almost 2 weeks and have spent most of our time just relaxing and performing the occasional maintenance task.
We attended a granddaughter’s wedding, visited with family and friends and generally just relaxed after the “constantly-on-the -move” trip to Alaska.
I have spent a lot of time reviewing all the pictures we took on the trip and decided that even though we are back down in the ‘lower 48’, I am going to write a few blogs on some of the many things and places we saw along the way to and from Alaska.
As you have noticed from past blogs, I love signs ……………….. so here are a few from along the road!
But you can’t drive your truck or RV thru……………..
Who wouldn’t want to bank here?
The new and the old……
The Restwell Motel is right next door to a bowling alley!
Now the heaviest traffic is here on the interstate!
No thanks!
A campground message board!
On our way into Canada, then to Alaska.
Signs warning of moose everywhere, but no real moose!!
Things are really hoppin’ here!!! Haha!
Watson Lake, Yukon Territory….the ultimate place for sign lovers.
There are thousands of signs from all around the world!
This is most eagerly anticipated sign along any highway.
The sign changed but still no moose!
Just a few of the many, many signs along the highways. So many times we are past the really good ones before I can get my camera out!!!
Just us kids……………….relaxing!!!!
