We left Great Falls, MT early on Sunday morning and headed up US 89 toward Browning. We stopped to treat ourselves to breakfast at the Log Cabin Cafe in Choteau, MT. Great biscuits and gravy according to Bill, the biscuit and gravy expert!!!!
On through the Blackfeet Nation…………….
soon we saw this sign………..
followed by this sign………………
and after answering a few questions at the border we were in Canada!
Now we are in beautiful Alberta!
Keeping the Rocky Mountains on our left we continued north on US 89 which is now Canada 2 N to Cardston, Alberta.
We arrived in Cardston and Lee Campground, which is a city park right in town. We were lucky to get the last RV space as this was Victoria Day, a 3-day holiday for Canadians. Tonight (Monday) we have the entire park to ourselves.
The park in next door to the Remington Carriage Museum which will be the subject of my next blog………..stay tuned!
Just us Kids………….!!!
