Greetings from Amarillo, Texas……..home of the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame and Museum. (No cameras inside)
Also home of the “Cadillac Ranch” which is visible from Interstate 40 on the way into Amarillo.
Yes, those are Cadillacs stuck in the ground!!! This is somebody’s idea of art!!!!
It is also “graffitti heaven” and the ground is littered with discarded spray paint cans!
You will also notice that we are all bundled up in our parkas!!! When we arrived yesterday the temperature was 89 degrees and during the night the wind came up and the temp went down!! This morning it was 38 degrees, cloudy and really windy! As they say here in Texas……..if you don’t like the weather, just wait a few minutes, it’ll change!
Tomorrow we are going into Palo Duro Canyon and I hope to have good pix from there.
Just us kids out here on the road……..
