Well, that was fun……NOT!!

 

Today I will tell you about an adventure I would have avoided if I’d had any choice!!!

                                            

Tuesday afternoon I started feeling discomfort in my chest and assumed that it was yet another bout with acid reflux, so didn’t think much of it. However throughout the night the discomfort turned to pain in my chest radiating to my back, so off to the  doctor we went where they did an EKG which showed that I was not having a heart attack at that time so she ordered a CT on my abdomen! When CT was completed I was taken directly to the hospital when I was given an entire barrage of tests which eliminated heart attack but confirmed bad gall bladder!!!

So on Thursday afternoon my gall bladder and “stones” were removed via laparoscopy. I spent another night in the hospital and came home on Friday………….Yay!!!!

I am doing great, no pain, just a little stiffness, and sleepy. Today woke up at 8:30 AM and moved to my recliner and promptly went to sleep and slept most of the day.
