We left Decatur, AL on Monday, November 3rd and drove up to Yellville, AR for a visit with Joe and Lou Hatcher.
Bill and Joe mostly just hung out and waited for us girls to get home from quilt meetings, but all 4 of us volunteered at the food bank on Thursday morning and toured a fish hatchery. All of this in just four days!!!!!!
It was so good to see them, catch up on all the news, and to meet the new addition to their family, a puppy named “Lotus Blossom”, a small bundle of love wrapped in fur!!!!
For all of Joe and Lou’s “road friends” you will be happy to hear that they are doing great and their home in the Arkansas woods is fantastic. Best of all, they have provided all of us “roadies” with our own RV pad to visit any time!!

Sandy taught us all the art of ‘sashiko’ which is an old Asian form of quilting.

Thank you, Joe and Lou, for your hospitality, but most of all, thank you for being our friends!!! We love you.

Oh I love that quilt square. I bet that was a fun class to go to.

Boy, we did pack a lot into that week, didn't we. But what a fun week it was. We hope you will come back often. We loved having you and hearing about all the fun we are missing by not being on the road anymore. Lotus Blossom says "hi."
