Saturday morning Bill noticed a “big bird” in the tree near us that usually is inhabited by doves and crows. He observed that none of the usual crowd of birds would even come near the tree, so got out the binoculars for a closer look.
The Cooper’s Hawk dominated his perch for about an hour and as soon as he left the usual birds flocked to the tree and life was normal again.
